Really need some help on this one??
I have an m8 ott tv box which up until today seemed to give me a few problems. I brought this from new about four weeks ago, which has been working and operating like I expected it to no issues at all, use of xbmc,youtube play store internet all ok. Even upgraded to kodi on the media player all is well. Today decided to install showbox , for some reason the apk file did not install . So thought ok delete the apk file and forget it for now . Used the box later to watch a film, watched some of it then turned off, as had things to do. Now when I switched back on to show a friend of mine how wonderful this box is, my internet seems to switch off like its lost signal and try's reconnecting again. This happens all the time now so cannot use the box at all, it will let me start to use apps or browser but then switches off and reconnects and constantly now does this. I have tried using Ethernet connection which does the same??? All other devices work fine in the house which amount from other android to apple and chromecast with no internet issues ?? So a little puzzled as to why this has happened, or the apk for show box was corrupt which has now created this problem.
Operating on 4.4.2 kitkat

Should I factory reset tv box, but wash' sure if this would delete everything or just default, which is would then have to reinstall my apps, which I don't have an issue with or would this wipe all?? Ok so done the factory reset, but now when boots stays on the mbox screen,
