OTT M8 TV BOX WIFI ISSUES - HELP!!!!

Hi everyone,

My OTT TV M8 Box arrived last night.

I set it up as follows;

HDMI lead from box to tv

Power cable from box to plug

Reset my dlink router as I'd forgotten my password

Connected to WIFI

At this point, everything seemed to be going well. When I tried to connect to any of the apps, it wouldn't work. I tried to connect to google and it timed out as though there was no internet connection.

But the network settings clearly showed that I was connected to the wifi. My laptop internet was working fine also.

I reset the router - turned the power off for 30 second and re boot the router - unplugged the android box and still the apps and internet wouldn't work.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the router to make sure it is not limited to a set number of IP addresses?

Now fixed!

It was a poor wifi signal I rerouted the modem wire so I can plug directly into the box.
