nubtard

Lurker
Hello, was attempting to update my mxq with the proper firmware and it made it into the update screen and the android guy and then the moving bar, and then a black screen,. I have attpempted to make a bootable sd card but the box still does not respond, Not sure if the card is too big or if I am not doing something correctly. can anyone point me into the right direction?

this is the unit that I have. http://www.amazon.com/Amlogic-Android-Miracast-Airplay-Vensmile/dp/B00QEYBX84

i tried to post the password but this forum does not allow the url, and blocks it out.
I think your password might be geek
buying

then dot com.

that was the password for the only file I had that was password protected,

try it.

This password worked .
I now have a blue light . I can start the box but I only get the pic below and I can go no futher , the box does not update and it is only a matter of time before it hangs again and I swithch it off to try yet another reset

did you try wipe data factory reset?
if you are in the recovery mode you can load a file from the SD card "apply update from EXT".

MAKE SURE its the right file for your box!

you should have the correct file (recovery.img) unzipped to the root of the SD card. Do not put files in a subfolder.
