OTT TV M8 box - updating Kodi?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd try and get a problem solved.

Bought the box at the weekend and have had no success getting quality streams/videos on it.

So, I thought updating Kodi from version 14.0 to the latest version might help. However, it isn't just a case of installing it from the Play store. Anyone know the best thing to do?
