Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the major outage in the south.. I can confirm in Knoxville it is effecting more than Cricket.. All the major carriers are down here.. T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, att
 
Down south here and no issues to date, so lucky here
 
Just curious if anyone else have been having issues with sending Pictures via text lately.

Here is South Florida, withing the last month or so, my wife and I have both been having issues at times getting picture to go through on Cricket via text.

1) We have checked with Cricket, they say no issues on their side
2) We have checked and tripled checked our APN's and they seen correct.
3) We have cleared cache and rebooted numerous times.
4) We know it's not a signal issue, it happens on 2 bard and 5 bars at times, and sometimes they go through and sometimes they don't for hours.

Let me know if anyone else have been having any of the MMS issues, and if you have found a solution, cheers

I just logged in to see if I could find anyone else with this problem. I'm not sure when it started since I don't do a lot of MMS, but I was thinking it was when I updated my Nexus 5 to Marshmallow, which was about the time you posted this message. I also switched from Hangouts to Messenger about that same time, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've done all the usual stuff just like you did, and nothing seems to get the pics to send or receive. :-(

Yep I have since went back to Textra and have had no issues since. The issue was and still is with Google Messenger, I also posted on the Google support and other have had and still have the same issue. Switch apps and let us know, it should resolve your issue. It's something with the Google messenger for some users, and I happen to be one of them, along with my wife's phone.

Stick with Textra. Much better app for messages
