Calendar Synchronisation

Guest
I use MS Outlook 2010 as my main email, contacts & calendar tool. I want to synchronise the calendar with the calendar app on my Nexus 10.
I've been unable to find anything that will do what I want, and was looking at using Google Calendar as an intermediate stage: messy, but it seemed that Outlook <-> Google, then Google <-> Android app was the only viable way.
Sadly, this plan fell at the first hurdle: a lot of my events are recurring ones, which re-occur on days such as "first Tuesday in May" and Google Calendar doesn't allow for that sort of recurrence.
Can anyone suggest a way of achieving what I want?
Thanks in anticipation!

If you use an online microsoft account (outlook.com) and sync with that then you can use Microsoft's Outlook.com app for Android to sync with your phone. I don't do this for contacts, but I do have an outlook account I use as a backup for calendar syncing and can confirm that that works (I've occasionally had Google glitch with some of my calendar subscriptions, so like to have a backup).
