Outlook calendar syncs but can't edit calendar entries on phone

I'm syncing my Outlook calendar to my LG v10. Calendar entries sync from phone to Outlook and vice versa. However, only entries created on my phone can be edited on the phone (e.g., if I create an entry via Outlook on my laptop and it syncs to my phone, it can only be deleted).

Has anyone seen behavior like this? I've looked all over with no leads. Never had this problem on past Android phones.

Have wiped Outlook account from phone and re-synced it in case it was a fluke.

Check out control settings on both the phone and the web based outlook.

I recall having an issue on my BlackBerry Passport due to my gmail account settings not allowing my phone to control the account.
