Root overclock wont take effect?

So I just rooted my phone, installed Jrummy's overclocker and got all the updates so it works on my droid 2 now. When I go to set a frequency it gives me the little message saying it was successful and stuff but then when I run quadrant it says my processor is still at 1.0 ghz? I set it to 1.4. Anyone know why this is?

Also, on a side note, I noticed each selection has two frequency for the processor, like 1.4 and 1.1. What does this mean? Does the speed fluctuate between these two speeds at any given time?

Yes the speed fluctuates and you need setcpu to change it after it is changed in his program

So does Jrummy's just change the voltage?

hmm, for some reason the auto detect wont work, it just says 1000mhz is the max even when I set it to 1350 in jrummy
