Help OWA (MS) disconnects a day afetr install

DoomProof

Lurker
Hi All, I have installed (MS) OWA (Pre-Release), as it was the only one that I got my work's Calendar also working. For email AquaMail also works for me.

However, roughly a day after the install, OWA stopped working, showing "Connecting..." - no updates anymore - "Connection terminated".
A deinstall and reinstall will get it working for a day again.
Tried phone reboots, app stops, but they don't help.

Does anyone have a tip for this?

Thanks in advance.

I am having the same issue. the worst part is I am getting notifications for calender and mail but when I go into the app i get disconnected.

I had exposed and gravity box on and I disabled them.. same problems.. works for a day then done.

such a pain!

Thanks for sharing, Slacking42.

I don't get notifications from OWA after its disconnecting.
I can continue to work with emails through AquaMail (great app!) running simultaneously.
Still looking for an Calendar replacement, and then I can ditch MS-OWA.

Take care.

The Internet seems to be full of people with thus issue. . You don't have to uninstall you can just clear data and the reconnect again. Microsoft is playing the 'this is preview software so we're not expected to make it work card' it sounds like they will pull the app and then get users to switch to the full outlook one... which requires device administrator privileges

I've also had the same problem since upgrading to Lollipop on my Moto X 2nd Gen. It was working fine before the upgrade, and now it will only work for a few hours after an install. Insanely annoying. I use CloudMagic for email, which works great - but does anyone have another suggestion for a calendar app?

I have now installed OWM paid (< 5 EUR); works straight out of the store with email AND calendar on company office365 account. Interface is a bit crude, but I'll live with that if it keeps working.
Deleted MS-OWA - load o' crap.

Thanks all.
