Own Wallpaper

Im trying to create my own wallpapers for my gt540, I size them to 320 x 480 but when I install them on my phone and use them I have to crop the image again, is there a certain size they have to be in order for me to see the entire wallpaper on the phone

I think for that phone, you're going to want to make them 640x480 (wxh) to allow for scrolling across multiple screens.
