The problem was originally spotted last month, but some Android publications are just starting to pick it up and report on it now.
Multiple users are seeing stutter and choppiness when recording video on their Snapdragon 820 Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. For comparison, slow motion videos recorded on the Exynos variant don't seem to have this issue.
