Barely has the OnePlus 3T been launched in North America, (Globally 28 Nov: ), than an update to the stock firmware is being rolled out OTA, (Over The Air). This update takes the firmware from OxygenOS 3.5.1 to OxygenOS 3.5.3

Here are some highlights for this update:

    • Added emergency calling for India (triple press the power button to trigger)
    • Added motion detection in camera and enhanced image capturing quality
    • Added OnePlus community app
    • Updated touch panel firmware and optimized touch precision
    • Updated GPS library and optimized location accuracy
    • Redesigned clock UI
    • Redesigned calling UI
    • Increased stability and implemented various bug fixes

As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and they will begin a broader rollout in a few days.

To reiterate, this is for the OnePlus 3T model only.

No, I do not know if or when it is likely to come to the OnePlus 3 model. ;) Besides, most of those highlights are already in the Open Beta 7 build.
