Help P9 notifications on icons

On my Samsung I used to get a notification number in the corner of my facebook icon, words icon etc. I dont get this on P9 and dont get notified at all for Words With Friends and only occasionally on Boom Beach. This is despite the fact that notifications for all of these are turned on in the settings. Is there something I can do to change this.

Badge notifications? Might be that the stock EMUI launcher doesn't do them, and Samsung TouchWiz does. If it doesn't, you'd probably have to use a third-party launcher that does. Something like Nova, paid version does.

The notification badge (number in the corner) is launcher dependent. You can install a launcher that supports adding such badges to icons.

I use Nova launcher along with Tesla unread app, BTW...

ADW Launcher 1 also. Just set them up in the widgets section.
