Hello i am trying to download kik messenger on Google play. And i have have had this app before. And i never changed anything. All i did was delete the app and tried to install again. When i tried to install it again it wouldnt Finish it. At the end it said " package file is invalid" and I've tried everything i cleared the cache and history. I dismounted the sim card and re mounted it as well. I tried restarting my phone many times and nothing is working please help me

Go into Settings >Apps > All > Google Play Store >Clear Cache and defaults and reopen the play store. Make sure content filtering is setup correctly (in play store > settings >Content filtering)>make sure everything is unchecked and attempt the download again.

You can also go to http://market.android.com and remotely download the application from a PC.

I have had this problem myself. I think I read somewhere that the play store is borked and Google is sending out a fix soon. Not sure where I saw that though. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You could try going into settings>apps>Google Play Store and clearing cache and data, reboot phone and try again.

Unfortunately I think we're stuck waiting for Google to fix this.
