package not valid error

[Android Question]

Whenever I download an app from Google Play Store I get a problem " Package File Invalid "

I can download app of any size and in past i have done so ..
Everything was working fine before ...

I rebooted my fone and this appeared ..

My fone : Micromax A90S

I know you can't respond to this thread (unless you sign-up as a member), so I'll try to cover all bases. You don't mention what device or version of Android you are using, both of which would be key pieces of info, but here goes...

1. If you are running Jelly Bean or are rooted, this could be caused by injudicious disabling or "freezing" apps/services. Some apps depend on others in order to function.
2. If you have incompatible router settings when connected via wifi, it can cause checksum errors, which will give this type of error.
3. Check here to see if it applies in your situation.
4. It is always possible that the apk (application) actually is invalid.
