Root Padfone 2 Questions

I just ordered a Note II but I am thinking maybe I should go with the Padfone 2, but I am mixed between what is what I would like. A big issue for me is being able to run CM 10, which I currently do on my S III. I am not really finding my answer anywhere, so I hope to get some answers from here.

1) Does anyone know if CM 10 can be installed?
2) If it can, would it still allow the station to work properly?

A big grip for me capacitive is the buttons. I have a few questions about them. Currently on my S III, the buttons are disabled and the lighting is also disabled. I am running the virtual buttons that are native to Android, which I like a million times better than capacitive.

3) On the Padfone 2, is it possible (mod or not) to disable the capacitive and have the native Android virtual keys? If it can't be done, this is a deal breaker for me.

I really think you need to be patient....
Just like any other NEW phone, it take time for development. The ASUS phone still not available in many countries yet....so give it time for people to develop and play around.

Most of your questions there is definitely YES....the only thing you will need to pray and hope for is for the ROOTING process to be done. At the moment even the official unlock bootloader by ASUS is not working with the JB firmware. (I think ASUS still working on it). Once we have the roots, (and recoveries) I am sure you can install any custom ROM you want.
