I would love it if someone could make a Simon web app for the Emory University Hospital system. There already is one for the iphone. Essentially, all teaching hospitals (that I'm aware of) use a similar web-based program that allows you to look up pager numbers of doctors and staff members to send text pages. They are usually called the smartpage system, but Emory calls it simonweb. All the residents use it all day long. Unfortunately, the web interface doesn't really work properly on many smartphones. If there was an app, 100% of housestaff and medical students who own android phones would buy it. Every person at Emory with an iPhone has the Simon Web Emory/Grady Paging app. Not only would you make money, you'd make many young doctors very happy!
