Pandora App?

I can no longer find a way to exit Pandora except by forcing it to stop via Android. There is no quit/exit in the menu. Any suggestions?

Pandora version 1811.2
Pixel 2
Android 9

Clementine_3, assume you're referring to the X when the notification icon is pulled down/viewed? That's the only one I find. It used to exit the app, now it pauses the audio identical to pressing "pause".

Ha, you are right! I just opened it and used the X, it does look like it's paused. I mostly use it in my car and it disconnects/turns off when I turn the car off, I never check what it did. It may have updated with the new offline listening?

It is off though, it's not doing anything...you can just leave it that way forever and it's not using data (if that's you concern).

Well, it's not just me then :). You're right about just leaving it. As an ex-software developer I just hate seeing that. I didn't do much Android programming at all; but, seem to recall that there is still overhead in the sense that they're using memory and I think the scheduler must give them an opportunity to run now and then. I did notify Pandora so maybe they'll correct it. Oh, well. Thanks again.
