Pandora Auto Launch fails after PIE update

Is anyone experiencing any Auto-launch issues with Pandora since the Android 9 - Pie update? Since the update I can't get Pandora to open on my 2018 Honda CRV factory head unit. It just says no device connected. However, Pandora soes work under AA and I can stream with Bluetooth.

Any and all suggestions appreciated

Yup, it's not working like it used to. Mine will sometimes launch, sometimes not. Connect to BT, not connect to BT. Show/open through Pandora (Mazda infotainment) but mostly not. I find myself yelling at the Google lady to launch it and then just select my phone/BT and it works. Hopefully it gets fixed because, although she does listen, I don't like yelling at the nice passive aggressive Google lady :D

I'm experience the same problem in 17' Honda HRV. It worked fine until the update. My Google Pixel 2 XL won't connect the way it did before. Pandora or Android Pie 9 needs to send out a fix for this.

I'm having the same issue with my Hyundai. Very frustrating. I have to start Pandora on my phone first, toggle the auto launch setting off and on and then it actually works. Was so much easier before. Hope they fix this soon.

Has anyone tried reinstalling Pandora? I doubt it will fix it but thought I'd ask.

Same issue since the Android 9 "Pie" update. The Pandora App will no longer auto connect to the headunits. It's happening with a Pixel 2xl and both Alpine and Panasonic headunits. I have cleared the Bluetooth on the headunits and the phone, re-paired, yet the issue still persists.

Contacted Pandora and they said they don't have a fix yet :(

I found a work around that has been working consistently. It's a PITA but at least the vehicles Pandora app will sync with the phone.

Start the vehicle and let the headunit boot up. Start the Pandora app on the phone. In Pandora go to Settings and Advanced. Uncheck and then recheck the Launch From Car box. It should then sync with the headunit.
