Pandora Radio: Just about as good as the desktop app!

Pandora is probably my favorite music streaming service. It generates custom playlists much better than anything else I've found. But this review is more about their Android app than the service itself.

The app offers just about all of the functionality of the desktop web-app. You can play any of your stations (including QuickMix), create a station from a song or artist, rate the current song as good or bad, skip to the next song, etc. All of this is done very intuitively with a great UI (in my opinion). I use it in my car, at the airport, and pretty much anytime I'm waiting anywhere...

It's also great that it can run in the background. For example, I will often have Pandora playing in my car while using Google Maps Navigation. When navigation needs to tell me something, it simply mutes the song, tells me where to turn, and goes back to the song. Awesome!

The only couple things missing would be the ability to rate previous songs, the ability to modify your QuickMix station, and the ability to edit your stations, or at least add another song/artist to a station. It would also be great if it would cache the next few songs to prevent lost connections from disrupting the playlist.

Overall, wonderful app!
