First of all, I would like to point out that even though the game is free there is a requirement of an item known as food to level up, which can be bought either with money or in game money.
The game itself is kind of noob unfriendly because most of the world is already populated and there is much to learn when you start, the game isn't bad and some time is needed to get started.
First of all the thing is that the game lags a little sometimes and might seem slow, but its only periodically and nothing big. Secondly, you can play alone but playing with friends is much more fun, make some friends ingame with the chat if you dont have any friends to play with
A new character starts with 300 Food and adding them on facebook gives another 100, thats 400 food which is 5 levels. A Great start because by then you'll be able to enter your first dungeon. Remember, this game is like an MMORPG so its alot of grinding without quests and just leveling with that.
