I used to have a BlackBerry. The global setting was to leave email on the POP server. However, when I deleted emai(s) from the BB I was asked if I wanted to also delete it from the POP server. What is the proper way to remove contact linkages with Facebook and any other services? I think there is a global setting and then a setting for each contact. Which takes precedence?

My Configuration: HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon Wireless network. 8GB memory card. Android 2.1 OS. Home computer = iMac running v10.6.3 Snow Leopard. I use Apple Mail, iCal and Address Book on the iMAC. I use a POP3 server for email. I have a Google Gmail account; which I only use as a go-between to sync contacts and calendar between my iMac and Droid
 
Couldn't you have asked all these questions in one post? And why do you have add that paragraph to every post?

I put them in separate post so people can easily see and search for each topic.

Since they are separate I need to put my configuration in every post so people know what I'm running
 
To remove facebook contact syncing:

Settings>Accounts and syncing>Tap facebook, the green sync icon on the right should turn to grey.

This is turned on automatically when you log into the facebook app, and as far as I know its global facebook syncing.

If you don't have a rocker, just turn the volume down all the way to vibrate. Otherwise, I use the "ringer toggle widget" from the app market. You can choose between ring,silent+vibrate, or silent+no vibrations with the widget.

You don't have to search by topic on internet forums, and who cares what you are running unless it has to do with your question. This is borderline spam, please use common forum courtesy when posting for better results.
