Root partition on sd card

Hey...i have samsung galaxy ACE & i have 16 GB memory card.I have created 2GB ext2 partition by Mini tool partition wizard home edition.but i can't access it.Please help me with it.How to access it ? will it work as internal memory? if yes then how can i use it and see its status?

Checkout the methods given here for sd-ext methods, use anyone that suits your rom. And i'd recommend you switch to ext3 or 4, they are much faster.
