Repartitioning the internal storage of a phone requires root, but even so is a much deeper modification than most people would attempt. And you are asking to add an additional partition to the internal storage, and presumably trick the phone into thinking that is the SD card. That's really serious stuff, and very device-specific, so you should ask in the device root forum rather than here.
However, I doubt you'll find anyone who has done this. The LG p509 has very little storage to start with, so most rooters will be trying to use the SD card to extend their internal storage. You are asking for the opposite: to reduce the size of the (already tiny) internal storage so that some of it can act as a (miniscule) SD card. You'll probably find that you are the only person who has ever wanted to do this, and even if you succeeded you won't be able to create enough space to store very many pictures.
So to be honest my advice would be to get the phone repaired or replace it. Sorry.

I didn't say impossible, just that it will require a lot of work and specialist knowledge, will only give you a little bit of space and unless you are able to shrink the system partition at the same time (depends how big the ROM is, which I don't know for that device) it will cause you to run out of space for apps sooner.

But the method I used was specific to that phone model, and didn't try to create an extra partition and redirect sdcard to that, so it wouldn't help you. That's why you need a device specialist.
