I have a SUPER old email account that I forgot the password to, simply because I always used it in the app on my phone, and never had to sign in. Now, they suddenly want me to sign in. Because the account was created so long ago, it was never backed up with a cell phone number, nor an alternate email address for the company to contact me for password reset. (Dumb, I know). When I called customer support to try to reset the password, they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do, since they have no way of verifying who I am. I know there were security questions created, but they said that it is no longer legal to use those to verify me.
So...since I always used the account through the app in my phone, is there a way to find the password through history/cookies/some crazy program I can download to find it?
Of course, when using the email account, I never selected the option "save my login information," for security purposes...sigh.
