The browser (on my Nexus One, Android 2.1, at least) has an option in settings to remember passwords. I'm assuming that means that somehow the browser can fill in passwords for sites automatically so I don't have to type them every time, the way FireFox does on my Windows computer. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to make that work -- I type the user id into the form on the site I'm visiting, tap in the password field, and nothing happens; I still have to type the password every time.
Am I missing something, either to register a password initially or to apply it to a login form when I revisit a site? Or does this feature just not work yet?
