payment method not recognizing

I have tried to make a purchase on my kindle using amazon account and it keeps telling me that there is no credit card into on file. Went into amazon account and all correct info is there. Called amazon and she was no help at all! Please help! So frustrating.

Does it work if you make the purchase on your computer and push it to the Kindle?
