Paypal app won't sync with Paypal account

I've been trying to use the Paypal app occasionally but it doesn't appear to be working correctly.

I can log into it fine but when I try to send money to someone it won't pull their information over from my account. It's trying to pull only from my phone contacts and that is not how they are listed in my Paypal account. Paypal uses email addresses and not phone numbers.

Has anyone else tried using this app?

Not yet but I guess that's the next step. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

You may also want to try your settings using a p.c (laptop).

I did uninstall and reinstalled the app and it didn't change anything. I've also looked all around my settings and it says that if you link a mobile number it will sync with your PayPal account. So I went and checked the settings there and my mobile number was already linked.

So according to everything I can see it should be working. I guess I will have to contact PayPal to see why it's not.
