PC connection

[Android Question]

I have 7 days left to return my phone. The Kies method for connecting to my PC didn't work with my last phone and doesn't see to with this S3. Is there an obvious solution, or should I return the phone?

Could be a dodgy USB cable - try a different one - however my guess is there's a problem with the phone drivers on the PC. Try the following:

- remove the phone from the PC

- un-install all of the phone-related drivers from the PC

- un-install Kies from the PC

- reboot the PC

- re-install Kies

NB: Do NOT connect the phone until prompted

Allow all of the drivers to install before disconnecting the phone.
