Pdf reader with audio annotations?

Even the best pdf readers for Android I tried were only able to highlight, add text, add lines and freehand drawings...

But is there any that would accept sound annotations (clicking on a point onnthe page to add an icon and then record voice on the fly)?

Adobe reader on Windows can do that, iAnnotate on iphones can do it (iAnnotate for android doesn't).

I think this is because all iDevices have a voice recorder baked into the system that the pdf reader apps can access, thus allowing them to have a "record" function. The app just directs you to it and auto-links the resulting file. Otherwise it they would become a huge very complicated app.

Since Android does not have a native voice recording app, the ability to do what you want isn't as straight forward, but still relatively easy. While reading your pdf and finding something you wish to add a recording to, hit the home button then look for your voice recorder app. Record whatever you wish, then when you have finished and saved the file, open the task-switch pane and choose the pdf reader thumbnail. Select "add file" and then select the recorded file. It's more like a Windows approach. Needing to do this again becomes simpler after the first attempt because opening up the task-switcher has the recording app still there, so you can switch between them as needed.

I am not sure which pdf readers have the file annotation feature, but the one I use (ezPDF) has it.

That's exactly what I've been doing so far (on my Note tablet it's easier because more programs can be on the screen at the same time), but I hoped there was an easier way. When I want to add tons of small audio annotations, this method takes too much time (and I end up with several files).

I'm sorry to hear that this is an intrinsic android problem and that probably can't be solved until they change the kernel.
