Peak Schedule configuration

Hello! I am syncing my new samsung with my gmail and it is asking peak schedule and off peak schedule what does that mean?

Off-peak and on-peak refers to time of day that Google should back up your data. If you choose on-peak, it will try to sync during the day, even while you use your phone, which could slow your phone's performance and data speeds. If you choose off-peak, it will sync while you are asleep. The only reason this might be bad would be unexplained battery drain.

Peak hours are Mon - Fri from 6am-9pm. It is when people are online and emailing the most.
