Help Pending messages

Im on 3, and when i send a text message, the report on the right, says it is sent, rather than not sent

If you long press that message, and click view report, it says that it is still pending, and it can be pending for up to 3 hours, so i cant reply to any messages coming through for hours, which can get really frustrating.

Is this to do with the phone? the network? not sure

Any suggestions would be great

Is this in google mail or the alternative email client?

If googlemail just hit the options button and select refresh, this will sync your gmail.
