Help People not receiving my picture messages

I have a new LG G2 phone... I've been sending pictures to people and they say they don't get them or they can't download them cuz the size is too big. My phone says it's converting to a smaller size but it seems it not or something?! Anyone else have this issue, how to fix?? Please help.... thanks!!

Make sure the total MMS size for each message is less than 300kb, that's usually the maximum MMS for many carriers. It's not a lot, but that is the limit for MMS.
