Permission changes in banking apps

I find the mobile banking apps very useful. However, the most recent update for two of them have the following new permissions. Anyone know what they might want to do with these?

Services that cost you money: Directly call phone numbers.

Hardware control: take pictures

I know my Banking app has the take picture permission for depositing checks.

Directly call phone numbers is likely for customer support.

Mostly though, as long as you're sure it's YOUR bank that makes the app, I wouldn't worry too much about the permissions. I mean considering you already trust them to hold your money for you
