I saw that thing about the permissions for the Star Trek game. Which are legitimate and how do you get around the others?

There is more than one Star Trek game out there, so you'll need to tell us which one you are asking about. Posting the list permissions would be even better - save other people from having to search to work out what you are asking about.
As for what you can do, if you are not happy with the permissions the best thing to do is not install the app. You can also contact the developer and ask them why it has those permissions.
