Personal cloud back up

Hey'all

I have a s7edge and s7 and want to back up all my pictures from these phones to a personal cloud ill be setting up at home. Few questions in regards to that, do you guys already have a similar set up? Im considering segate cloud or wd mycloud or just turn my netgear nighthawkn router into a cloud.

In gallery can i back up all the folders that i created on the sd or am i going to have to so it manually and take all the pics out of folder and than transfer to a cloud?

Use Google photos. In preferences choose the folders to back up.
I believe it's a free 15 gb of storage.
Now you can login on your PC to photos.google.com and see them from there also.

Instead of buying a NAS Solution, you could buy a Raspberry Pi/Arduino, create an Apache server (using something like XAMPP) and search online for a free PHP file database system. This is cheaper than buying one, but requires a bit odd technical knowledge. That being said though, the internet can be of great help 😉
