How do android dev guys / girl consider personal information acts in their environment ?

Total noob here, so please excuse my ignorance
How do android dev guys / girl consider personal information acts in their environment ?
I know there is different acts all around the world with aim to protect the customers data.
Australia : https://www.cso.com.au/article/5401...quired_by_australian_privacy_principles/?pp=2 More conclusions :
EU : http://www.eugdpr.org/
South africa has a Popi act.

Is there general guidelines that is followed? , least privilege permissions ?
Or if you know you app is being develop for a certain market / country you follow that country personal information act best possible.
