About a month ago my S3 forgot all the personalised data. I text and email alot so this is very very frustrating. I have tried everything except a factory reset and don't want to gp dow this message route if I can avoid it.
Also the phone has got soooo slow and sluggish it is very close to being tun over by the nearest lorry.
Someone pleeeeeeese help me. I hate this phone right now. Wish I'd stuck to my old faithful blackberry.

Welcome to Android Forums! Sorry for the delayed response.

This is a tough one, but I'll try and offer the best advice I can. It sounds like the phone has too many processes running. That and low memory, which are related, can cause significant slowdown. You can check what apps are always running and see if you can live without some of them. I don't know if clearing caches on some of the biggest sized apps would help or not, but you could try it. If nothing helps, you would then be at the Factory reset point, unfortunately.

As far as the phone losing your personal data, I have no idea how that would have happened. More information might help someone here be able to diagnose that.

I hope this helps! If not, there are two avenues: You can re-submit your question with additional info the same way you submitted this one, or you can join the forums for a better back and forth exchange of info.
