Phandroid App Brightness Hurts My Eyes

BabyBlues

Trouble Just Finds Me!
First let me say that I LOVE having the ability to check in on my favorite internet friends with this app. It keeps me amused and informed whenever I want.

Now onto my suggestion/request -

The bright white screen is too bright. It hurts my eyes when I try to check the phone in a darker setting (at night, or first thing in the morning to see what craziness I missed overnight) and I am 99% sure the brightness/white is not battery friendly to SAMOLED-type screens. (The app itself has issues that cause battery drain as well but I know you've been made aware of that too so I won't go into that here). I would love to see the Phandroid app get an option for light/dark themes to accommodate both LCD and SAMOLED users.

Pretty please and thank you!

I've been begging for a dark theme for a while. :(

FWIW, if it's any help, I've been using ScreenFilter from the market to help until we finally get our wish!

Thank you very much for the tip. I am downloading it now. (It would be really nice to not have to add more apps to suck more battery power though - HINT HINT HINT) ;)
