Phandroid app irony

So I like this forum so I downloaded the app. This forum also taught me that ram doesn't matter just how much cpu is being used and only kill apps that are rating up cpu in the background. Guess which app has been using 6 to 30 percent of my cpu when I'm not using it (or when my phone is idle). Yup the phandroid app. Even after killing the app a couple times. I am not using the widget. I just installed it and thought I would share the irony and see what you all thought.

My assumption is that you went into the preferences and turned off Autosync and PM notification or increased their timeline.

I never could get that app to work. One of the few apps I've had problems with and its from Phandroid. I'll check and see if its been updated since last time I tried it out.

I too notice that it runs a lot in the background. Once that's updated I'll reinstall it.

I'm thinking you meant 'recommendation' instead of assumption, atraum. Just an fyi, the Phandroid app is auto set to autosync both news and PMs. If you want neither, you can go into the Phandroid's setting and turn it off or have the sync time increased.
