Anybody have this glitch on your Note 8 ... 》》》 Unresponsive Screens and Phantom Touches > touches are registering without people touching the screen.

There's a thread around here which I cannot find where someone had the same issue and it ended up being an app they installed causing phantom touches. Try uninstalling any apps you installed around the time the issue started.

I believe this is the thread you're referring to. It's in the Moto Z² Force board.

The culprit turned out to be a Dairy Queen app.

I tried Safe Mode, but that is useless for me, because I can't really do much of anything (hardly any apps to use in Safe Mode).

I did a Factory Reset, and the Phantom Touch happened in only a few minutes. So far, today, no Phantom Touch, yet .....

I hope it's sorted but do you have a screen protector on? If you do and the problem persist I'd suggest taking it off as I've heard of certain screen protectors causing problems like that

I have never used a screen saver on any of my devices.

The Phantom Touch happens when I do not even touch the Screen. I asked the Samsung rep at Best Buy yesterday. They told me there is no fix for this issue.

Do you have a cold or the flu?
Moisture can cause phantom touches.
Sneezing or coughing lately @GadgetJim?
