Got a funny story about that. A buddy of mine lost his phone and he went a few days without a phone. It made me laugh every time he 'grabbed' his leg.

My friend has Phantom Text Ringtone Syndrome - checks the phone every 5 minutes.

Me: "Why did you check your phone again?"

Friend: "I thought I heard my text ringtone."

Me: "Turn the ringtone volume above 1."

My missus has the complete opposite: she never hears her phone ringing.

Guess it would help if she didn't insist on keeping it on silent and buried in her handbag.

Plus, she probably just ignores it when she sees it's me
