Phone as PS3 remote

I have done a quick search but could not find what i was looking for, i am about to purchase my Desire and was wondering if there were any apps that let you control media functions in the PS3?

New here, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask
 
I've been looking for this too, but not come across anything yet. The PS3 remote is bluetooth so it should be possible?
 
It should be possible. In fact there is something that is close to it, there is an app that lets you control certain Blurays. I tried it and it worked well. But the BD in and start it up, then you can start your app on your phone and run the basic play/pause functions from your phone. But a full fledged PS3 remote app should be created, it would be cool. You could have customized touch screen buttons for your most used functions etc...and then be able to use the phone keypad etc...etc... I would love this and would pay for it.
