Help phone calendar not synching to web

Have a stock S3, running on Verizon's network. I use the calendar widget on my phone a lot and noticed yesterday that all the events I've added to my phone calendar don't appear on the calendar on the web. I've tried manually syching through the calendar as well as my google account through the settings menu on the phone, but no change on the web calendar. I did notice that whenever i create a new event on my phone, it defaults to "my calendar", withe the other option being my gmail account. Is this the issue? Is it possible to sync "My Calendar" to the web? Thanks for the help.

Hi

My Calendar is just local to the phone. You need to add entries to your google account calendar on the phone. (within whichever calendar app you are using). Some calendar apps also let you use and sync google tasks from your phone eg Business Calendar by Appengix

I was afraid of that. Thanks for confirming though. Is there a way to mass select the my calendar entries to change them to my google account of do I haveta do them one at a time?

Mmm...

I can't see a way to do it Many calendar apps can import ical etc files into google calendars but I cant see how to export "my calendar". Maybe using Kies? (I dont use Kies at all!)

When you select the sync icon in the drop down it toggles sync on the accounts you have enabled for syncing in the phone settings:

go to

menu button
system settings
then under "accounts" select an account - google, email, dropbox etc
then select the particular account in question
there are a series of tick boxes which allow you to choose whether the account or feature within the account (in the case of google) is to be synced when the main sync in the dropdown is toggled to ON.

It gives quite fine control over exactly what is going on when you are connected to the internet.
