Apple is rumored to be introducing the ability to make calls from the desktop using the iphone. I have already been thinking this would be a nice option as I don't have a land line for the computer. My question is: Is there an app for this and if not why not. Is it even possible?

You can also place calls with Gmail, you don't need a GV number. It just shows a random number on caller ID. You just have to enable 'chat' in settings.
