Title says it all. I noticed it a couple of days ago while reviewing my usage history with my carrier.
Dear husband was supposedly sending texts to me at odd hours of the night and early morning 11/29. There was also one at 1am today.
There were no records of texts on my phone or his.
He says he didn't text anything to me--we were both at home so there was no reason for it anyway. All of our messages between us are accounted for.
I spoke to technical support three times already and they are all stumped. They have suggested a third party messenger app is responsible, Google Voice, network errors, and both of our sim cards needing to be replaced.
The last solution was to request their engineering department to look into it.
Anyway, my carrier doesn't have a solution so I thought to ask here. My phone doesn't send out any "ghost texts" like that.
I thought perhaps malware or a virus could be responsible but all three technicians said no.
What do you think could be issue?
For what it is worth, I am open to any and all suggestions.
