Help Phone-Computer Communication

[Android Question]

Hi Guys! I'm new in android but I want to be able to turn on my computer from my phone through internet. I don't know how and where to begin. Please, I need your help.

Pugs1957, I really appreciate the help. Sorry for I wasn't clear. But what I'm trying to do is to make that kind of application(programming), not how to use it. Again, I really, really appreciate the help.

Try PC WakeUp, it works similar to the method Pugs linked, but it's far more automated. I only ran across it the other day, haven't had time to play with it yet, but it has high ratings and some great reviews.

Hi rastus26, I've seen it though never used it. I'm trying to make an app just like that. The problem is that I don't know where to start and how to do it. Soon, I'll be asking specific questions. Thanks guys for all that help and response from you.
