Phone contacts; exporting, multiple files...

There are many basic tasks that haven't been covered on this forum.

How do you Save your phone History (calls, messages etc.)?

More specifically, how do you save the History to disk so that you can recall it in the future?
That is, you save it to disk, then delete it so there is no more phone history, and then are able to later retrieve the old history if you need it.

And where, exactly, on the disk would this history be located?

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Exactly where on your SD card are exported contacts stored?
What are the name(s) of the files?

If you export the contacts to the SD card and then delete all of the contacts in your phone app will you then be able to import the contacts once again to the phone WITH THE PHOTOS that you had linked to your contacts?

Another related question.

Is it possible to have two or three Phone Contact files?
I'm not talking about setting up Groups inside a Phone Contact file.
I'm talking about completely separate Phone Contact files.

If it's possible, can someone please tell me the steps involved to achieving this?

TIA!
