Phone different after reset

I did a factory reset on my Moto z play. The wide Google bar that stayed on top of screen isn't there anymore. The look of apps etc looks older. The whole look in general is different and I have already got the lastest update-8.0.0. once in the settings it is different to, not as many settings. Is that what the latest update looks like? Thanks
