Help Phone fell off and this

Dalesama

Lurker
First things first: My device is Huawei Mate 9, I run on Android 7.0 Nougat, and this was just recently fixed and it broke.. again :/ Such misfortune.

Well, what happened is:
I dropped my phone, top left of it landed first, and then this appeared afterwards.

I would like to know if there is any other fix to this other than sending it for repairs again (Fixing the lcd is alot of money in my country! About 110 U.S dollars.)

I tried using a dead pixel flash app in play store, but some of it just become greyed out areas or lines (And I don't like it!)

Please, help me!

It seems like dead pixels, because I see no defects on the screen after it fell. When I broke the lcd, it wasn't this bad. Anyways, do you know a solution?

Oh well. How long will I be able to use this phone before my LCD dies (twice) again?

As long as you're careful and try not to drop it or whatever. An LCD should last indefinitely I think. Busted LCDs are often caused by impact damage. Maybe get a case for the phone, that can protect it better?

I'm not sure how tech savvy you are, but I broke the LED screen on my Chromebook earlier this year, approximately 12" diagonal size. I got a replacement from a place called "Olymstore" on Amazon for about $25, very reasonable price. Now, this was JUST the screen, and it does take some electronic repair skill to replace it, but you might want to check out this source or another parts supplier to just buy the part & install it yourself. Again, if you think you can do that.

Yeah I'd Vote that it's busted too.
you might can use it for a little while or it may seem to last a long time just looking jankie...

I've got an alcatel Pixi4 the 4060W model i believe...

well it's down to just the lcd with the plastic skin on it... Has an Exellent picture now that I pealed the broken crystal away.
still touch sensitive too.
it's a trip!
here's a shot of it in action

Another point on this in general, I always add a "Supershieldz" tempered glass protective screen to my phones soon after getting one. Probably won't prevent all damage if the screen's hit hard enough or at just the right angle, but they're very tough & well made and not too expensive if you buy them direct. Just got a package of 2 for my new Samsung for $7.99, delivered. http://supershieldz.com/

Also even a cheap "snap on" plastic case does a lot to protect the phone in case of a drop, etc.

That's amazing that the touch etc. still work.
